Hi! I’m Tayyibah Chase, LMFT & Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist
Your Postpartum Depression Therapist
One of my greatest fears has always been giving birth. After having my daughter, I believe that I was given my particular birth journey for a reason. My birthing process was the ultimate test of surrender.
My daughter arrived suddenly, but right on time, 3 months before her due date. At that moment, I knew that there was nothing I could have done to change her divine entry into the world.
The scariest moment of my life turned me into the fierce mama of the most amazing baby.
Things to know about me as a prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum counselor:
I’m in a sandwich” phase of life, meaning I am caretaking for my own child, while having aging parents
I am beholden to having a hot or cold beverage in the morning. It’s the little treat I give myself each day. My favorite is a hot or iced Matcha latte.
I thought my dog was my first child until I had one. It’s been an adjustment for him to say the least.
